What is MYKO?
MYKO — short for "My Knowledgeable Other" — is an adaptive maths practice platform. You photograph your handwritten working and get step-by-step marking, plus a diagnostic that pinpoints your exact gaps and targets them with practice. IB Mathematics is live today, with VCE and Singapore MOE curricula rolling out.
How is MYKO different from apps that just give you the answer?
Answer-finder apps hand you the result. MYKO reads YOUR handwritten working and marks it line by line, so you see where your method breaks down — not just whether the final answer is right. It then traces that mistake back to its root-cause skill and gives you practice that fixes the underlying gap.
How does the step-by-step photo marking work?
You solve a problem on paper and photograph your working. MYKO reads each line, marks it step by step, and identifies the first place your reasoning breaks down. A wrong method is flagged even when the final answer happens to come out right — because the method is the skill.
Which curricula does MYKO cover?
Worldwide: IB Mathematics — Analysis & Approaches (AA) is live at SL and HL, and Applications & Interpretation (AI) is launching next. Local curricula are rolling out by region: VCE Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics (Australia) and Singapore MOE, with more to follow.
